Who We Are

Kurt Stabel is the founder of Andorra Investment Management, a Registered Investment Advisor in Long Beach Californai. While completing his undergraduate degree at USC he began his career in the investment management industry at Paine Webber. Upon graduation he worked as a research analyst for a Registered Investment Advisor in Pasadena, helping to oversee $800 million dollars of client assets. Later he was a co-founder and the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Street Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor. During his tenure as CIO the firm was repeatedly ranked in “Nelson’s World’s Best Money Managers” as one of America’s Top Money Managers and he was frequently quoted in the Orange County Register and Los Angeles Times on capital market activity.

Kurt is a trustee and board member of Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association and currently serves on the Investment Committee, helping overseeing approximately $100 million dollars. He is a past Board Member for the City of Los Angeles Deferred Compensation Plan and its’ Investment Committee, overseeing approximately $2.7 billion in plan assets. Active in local affairs, he is a member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council and USC Marshal School Alumni Association.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC) with an emphasis in finance, attends numerous educational conferences regarding investments and money management annually, and has two certifications in Portfolio Concepts and Investment Management from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
