Why I support Ocean Defenders Alliance:
The ocean itself has always been a passion and a calling. My alarm bells were rung long ago when I realized that one day the problems we have created for ocean life would converge to become catastrophic if we don’t find active and working solutions. When I found ODA, I recognized that the real work of reversing an important aspect of the damage – abandoned nets, traps, batteries and debris - was being accomplished by this humble and dedicated crew of equally passionate individuals. ODA is the canary in the coalmine. If we can do it, then we can teach it globally. The very survival of the oceans and thereby all life on this planet depends upon it.
